These horses belong to The Polo Club in Lagos and you can often see them being ridden around The Island of the city (it occurred to me I've never bothered to find out why just always guessed exercise or something hmm)
Anyway they've become so common place coz I grew up seeing them around that I never thought to photograph them until about 2 weeks ago. I just found out it so interesting that they joined in the traffic rather then trotting along the sides like they usually do. It was also hilarious to see a car try to chance* them like any other vehicle in an attempt to get ahead!
Typical considering every driver in Lagos (irrespective of the mode of transport evidently) believes his/her destination is more important than the next's!
*chance - A term used to describe the aggressive attempt by a driver to get ahead of another in the next lane (usually used when such an attempt was successful)
